We're a Band!

Helix nebulosa , also called the "Eye of God"

My reflections about the song “We’re a band” by: Audio Adrenaline

The song “We are a Band” is a transcendental song, not only because it has done a lo
t for us but for it's message. The message it's a clear and determined. It is also a beautiful message that evokes joy and victory. In a passionate way I understand the message of love, and how we must feel and shout the world that Christ is our only light and glory.

What Jesus did for us is the most amazing thing that no one has ever done for us. God's perfect plan of coming back is a plan of joy, and it shows how the Lord is working on our behalves. When a think about this an unexplainable feeling runs through my veins and a joy flows in my heart and just like in the song I want to make noise and say: " The Lord is my shepherd nothing do I need!" That's for me the essence and message of this song.

It also says in one part: "God's coming back and I want to be playing his tune.....” here you can see how we are all preparing for God's plan. And in here we can also see that we've got to be good and do what he wants from us. Because only in this way we are going to be prepared for him. The song also has a message of union and of how we're all together in this. How before the Lord we're all the same and that we all need to feel this way. Because just like in the song we are a band, that means that we work together and we all play he songs of joy and victory.

I love this song because it praises the Lord and that its something we always at every time need to do this.

God has been good to us so let's thank him every day of our lives!

Analects:

What is Confucianism?
This philosophical way of thinking is really beautiful, because it does not considers only personal aspects.
It is a philosophy that focuses in human morality and it has a big influence on the culture and history of East Asia.
I like how it stresses the importance of education for moral development of the individual and in that way how this affects in a social environment.
It is also very important to state how this philosophy encourages governments to use moral virtues rather than by the use of c
oercive laws.

"My reaction towards the Analects by Confucius"

I got a lot of beautiful things form this reading. Through all this reading I got to learn that modesty is a virtue that gives more pleasure than to be always recognized.
Moral values are duties that we have to practice with everyone around us; I really agree in how it advices respect for elders.

I think that if all the governors practiced and really und
erstood these teachings a lot of improvements could happen in our countries. The ideal model for a government it’s stated here and it also shows how good thoughts are important in a person’s life.
To be humble, respectful, and to have modesty are important values that are stated all this teachings. I consider that these are characteristics of a WISE person.

I will surely do my best to learn them, practice them, and practice them present in my life.

"Pachatantra"

Panchatantra

This story is a fable. The fable shows how a good governor is supposed to be and the way it should think. In the fable the governor is a lion who is selfish and only thinks about his own needs. A wise rabbit tricks him in order to free all the animals from this tyrant.

The main message of this story reflects how small and wise actions can change difficult situations in life. For example even though the rabbit was a small creature and also weaker in comparison with the lion its intelligence made him bigger and stronger than the lion.

It’s amazing how if we believe in ourselves and in our beliefs we can make such a big difference in the world. All we need is confidence, optimism, faith, and we will be capable of accomplishing the things we want the most for example our goals.

Other teachings we can get of this fable are the importance of being humble in all situations, how vital it is for a leader to always treat and worry for the well being of his or her people before his own. They should keep in mind that everything you do always will come to back to you and wisdom always overcomes strenth.

We can relate this fable to real life in a country like Guatemala were selfish, greedy , and corrupt leaders never worry for their people and the only thing they care for is their pocket and how important it is to treat the way you want them to treat you. If you don’t follow this you might find yourself in uncomfortable situations due to your lack of morals. An example of this is the lack of approval and respect the Guatemalan people has to their government.
